All good things must come to an end. While we are closing the 2015/2016 year of Literary Legends, we are looking forward to a new page in the VCFS story. Vogue Charity Fashion Show is looking to hire its 2016/2017 Executive Team! All applicants are welcome, whether you are new to Vogue or want to try out a new role.
This year we will be hiring:

- Head of Music 
- Head of Photography 
Applications will be due WEDNESDAY MARCH 31st by 11:55P.M. Interviews will take place on FRIDAY APRIL 1st and SATURDAY APRIL 2nd.

HEAD OF CHARITY
Will be responsible for all direct contact with the chosen charity. Initiate and create fundraisers and charity drives within the Vogue and Queen’s communities. Will also work with Head of Sponsorship to manage logistics of the silent auction, which is held during the show. Will be responsible for researching potential charities.
HEAD OF SOCIAL
Will be responsible for the planning of all events associated with VCFS. Will use creativity to come up with fun new events and fundraising opportunities for VCFS. Will be responsible for selling tickets and the collection of money for all events associated with VCFS and with ensuring that money is given directly to the Head of Finance. As well, will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with the Kingston hub and other social venues.
HEAD OF FINANCE
Will be responsible as the financial officer for all transactions regarding money entering or exiting the existing VCFS bank account. Will maintain ongoing financial statements, and creating a final report for the executive committee at the end of his/her term of office. Will co-sign all cheques of VCFS with the Presidents and permission of the Executive Committee.
HEAD OF MARKETING
Will be responsible for the marketing and promotion of VCFS events on campus and in the community in conjunction with the Head of Social. Will be responsible for the marketing and promotion of the main show in conjunction with the Creative Department. This role includes running the blog, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. Knowledge of the website platform (Squarespace) is an asset.
Will be responsible for the creation and distribution of all promotional materials around campus, in addition to materializing marketing initiatives in conjunction with the Creative Department. Must have some knowledge of graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and work with Creative Department to produce posters and other promotional materials for social events and the main show.

HEAD OF SPONSORSHIP
Will be responsible for the content and creation of our Sponsorship Package to be distributed to all potential sponsors with the aid of marketing and/or creative in designing said package. Will be responsible for application to all applicable grants and bursaries in the Kingston and Queen’s community.
Will work with the Sponsorship team and the Presidents to come up with Sponsorship goals and deadlines for the year. Will be responsible for initiating and maintaining relations with corporate sponsors outside of the Kingston and Queen’s community. As well as, will be responsible for contacting VCFS and Queen's alumni in appeal for donations.
HEAD OF CLOTHING
Will be responsible for initiating and maintaining relations with all clothing sponsors who agree to donate their clothing for the days of the main show. Will be responsible for advertisement of those clothing sponsors throughout the show. Will be responsible for meeting the needs of the sponsors before meeting the needs of the choreographers of scenes; will approve choreography of the dances to ensure it meets the needs of clothing sponsors.
Will be responsible for collecting collateral from all the dancers and models before allowing them to borrow clothing donated by aforementioned sponsors. Be responsible for paying for damages from collateral collected.
HEAD OF TECH
Be responsible for ordering, obtaining and constructing all technical equipment for all productions of Vogue Charity Fashion Show. Will be responsible for obtaining necessary equipment within the budget allotted at beginning of September. Will be responsible for ensuring the removal of all technical equipment, free of damages, from the venue when the event is finished.
Will be responsible for collecting music, lighting, and cue sheets for all scenes in the main show and executing the technical aspect of the show during each performance and rehearsal, in conjunction with technical staff of venue. Will be responsible for maintaining a professional relationship with the venue.
HEAD OF INDEPENDENT DESIGN
Will be responsible for choosing five or more independent design scenes to be featured in VCFS based on an open interview process in which the applicant must provide a portfolio, sewing samples and sketches of their potential designs. Will be responsible for setting deadlines, keeping track of all designers throughout the year.
Will organize and assist the Photography team in producing Designer Diary videos close to the show. As well, will be responsible for model and dancer quick changes backstage during the main show.
HEAD OF LOGISTICS
Will be responsible for organizing, booking rooms and taking minutes during weekly meetings. As well, will be responsible for creating and maintaining a calendar of all VCFS activities [meetings, rehearsals, etc.]. Must be readily available during the summer for administrative VCFS details and planning. Be well versed with Google Docs, DropBox, and online polling websites. As well, will be responsible for monthly newsletters and keeping up to date cast lists.
HEAD OF MUSIC
Will be responsible for all independent artists associated with VCFS. Must be able to contact artists interested in performing live and arranging for any equipment they might need during the show. Will work with Tech and Choreographers in organizing music lists for the show.
HEAD OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Will be responsible for all of VCFS’ photography needs throughout the 2016-2017 year. This includes working with Creative Team at photo shoots. Must be available for social events and be able to work with the Social Team. Have skills in photography and Photoshop. As well, must be available during the week of the show to take photos of the final production.
